Members: Renew Subscription
Annual subscriptions run from 1st Jan to 31 Dec. The fee is currently £15:00 per annum for regular members and £11.00 for associate members (those who's main u3a is elsewhere).
Renewing your Subscription
Renewals can be made anytime after 1st Jan. When you login to the website and your membership is due for renewal (anytime from 1st Jan) you will see a banner at the top of the home page letting you know that your subscription is due. Note that this assumes you are already registered with Arda. Registration with Arda is different to just being a member. If you are not registered, then please view the "Registration" help page first.
If you have a PayPal account, then click the top yellow PayPal bar and follow the instructions.
If you don't have a PayPal account then you can pay by debit or credit card by clicking the bottom black Debit or Credit Card bar and then following the instructions. Note that even though you don't have a PayPal account, we are using PayPal as a mechanism to take your debit or credit card payment.
Once you have paid, there should be an acknowledgement pop-up. If you have blocked pop-ups on your browser there won't be - but your payment will most likely have gone through OK. Please do not try to pay again. Check your email to see if you have a "Thank you for renewing" email. If so, all is good. If not, please check with the Treasurer who will confirm or not whether he has received a payment from you. Alternatively, you can go to "My page" and at the bottom is a link for you to get your membership card - the 'valid until' date is on the card.

Open Settings, select 'Safari' in the left hand pane.
In the right hand pane make sure that 'Block Pop-ups' is turned off. (Although on my iPad using ios 10.0 this made no difference). A google search found that lots of other people have this problem ☹️.
Acknowledgement
When you have completed the process, the system will send you an automated email informing you that your membership has been renewed. Attached to the email is a pdf document of your Membership card. (We are not using these at the moment, but some u3a's require them to be shown at their monthly meetings - so don't just delete it just yet!)
